The second Meathead book is here! I’m proud to announce that Thursday, October 21, 2021 is the release date for my new book, DOWN THE GULLY. Get in your orders at https://www.blackrosewriting.com/, Amazon, Barnes & Nobles, Walmart, Target, or any other major book sellers’ sites.

This second book is a tale about a younger kid, a true middle grade story that’s appropriate to share with younger readers.

Baltimore Comic-con!

I’ll be attending the Baltimore Comic-Con on the weekend of October 22, 23, and 24th. I’ll be set up with a table in the art gallery and should have plenty of books on hand to sell. If you are attending, stop by and say “Hi.”

On Saturday November 7, from 3pm to 6 pm, I’ll be at Universal Comics 5403 East Drive, Arbutus, Maryland 21227. (410) 536-1210 I’ll be selling and signing my books. I turned in the finished work, and we’re tweaking the book design. Its an exciting part of the process. The book will have a similar look to Growing up Meathead, with 44 interior drawings and paintings.

I’m going to be maintaining this website and blog for my artwork and more specifically, for my Meathead series. I’ve turned in the final script and finished art for the second book, and I look forward to completing the cover art and having the entire package by April 1st.

I hope to periodically include new artwork and some short stories here.

It’s not going smoothly. I have my covers to paint.

Too many things to do, never enough time.
